Everything is printed on demand, then shipped with tracking. We hold no stock, so your order starts its life the moment you place it.
Orders delivered inside the European Union are produced in Barcelona, Spain, or Riga, Latvia. Orders to North America are produced in the United States or Canada. Your parcel therefore ships from the facility closest to you.

These are the times given by our print partner, not guarantees. Busy periods can stretch them.
Latest delivery date. In every case we undertake to deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest. If we fail to, you may cancel the order and be refunded in full, in line with Article L216-1 of the French Code de la consommation.
Shipping is calculated at checkout, before you pay, based on your delivery address and what is in your basket. Nothing is added afterwards.
You receive a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel leaves the print facility. If nothing has arrived within 7 business days of ordering, write to us.
Orders produced and delivered inside the European Union carry no additional customs charge. For deliveries outside the EU, any import duty, sales tax or local charge is payable by the recipient unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Our production partner does not ship to Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Ecuador, or to the Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine. Orders to those destinations are refunded in full.
We ship to the address you enter at checkout. If the parcel comes back because that address was wrong, we can send it again once you cover the new postage.
If your parcel is lost, or arrives damaged, contact us within 30 days of the expected delivery date. We replace it at no cost to you.
Non-personalised products, if any, can be returned. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to withdraw, without giving any reason.
Tell us by email before those 14 days are over. You then have 14 further days to send the item back. Return postage is at your expense unless the item is faulty or not what you ordered. Refunds reach your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the item back, or of you proving it was sent.
Every The Night print is made to your own specification. It carries the date, the place and the words you entered, so it cannot be resold to anyone else.
For that reason the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply, as set out in Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83 and Article L221-28 of the French Code de la consommation. Once you confirm your order it is final, and cannot be returned or refunded for a change of mind.
You see a full preview of your design before you order. Please check it carefully, in particular the date, the time, the place and the spelling.
The exception above limits nothing when something is wrong on our side. If your print arrives damaged, misprinted, or does not match the preview you approved, we replace it or refund it in full, at your choice, personalised or not. Send us your order number and a photograph within 30 days of delivery. Return postage is on us in that case.
Write to us straight away. If production has not started, we can still correct it at no charge.
All our products carry the statutory guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects under French law, Articles L217-3 and following of the Code de la consommation, and Articles 1641 and following of the Code civil. These guarantees are free, apply for two years from delivery, and are entirely separate from anything written above.
We offer no additional commercial warranty and no after-sales service contract. Nothing replaces or reduces your statutory rights.

You may browse, search past games, generate a preview of your own chess position, and place an order. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the service, to extract its content automatically at scale, or to use it for anything unlawful. We do our best to keep the site running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of applicable VAT. Shipping is added at checkout and shown before you confirm.
Payment is taken at the moment of order and processed by Shopify Payments. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never see or store your card details.
The contract is formed when we send your order confirmation email. That email, and your order record, are archived by us for ten years and can be obtained on request.
This site and these terms are written in English, and the contract is concluded in English. French-speaking consumers may request a French version of this information before ordering, and may conclude the contract in French, by writing to immortal@moodgroup.fr.
Everything is printed on demand. Colours on your screen may differ slightly from the printed result, since screens and inks do not render identically. Posters ship without a frame.
You choose the position and the text that appears on the plate, and you are responsible for what you submit. We print exactly what you approve in the preview. We may refuse and refund any order whose content is unlawful, offensive, or infringes someone else's rights.
Star and planet positions are computed from public astronomical models and catalogues. Weather comes from public historical records. We publish short videos of notable skies on our own social media accounts; these videos are generated from public data and contain no user data.
The Night is an independent studio, part of Trace Studio, operated by MOOD OFFICE SAS. It has no affiliation with any observatory, weather service or social network.
The Night name, the print layouts and the typography treatment belong to MOOD OFFICE SAS. Buying a product gives you the product, not the right to reproduce or resell the artwork.
Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer. Our liability is limited to the value of the order concerned, except where the law provides otherwise.
French law applies. If something goes wrong, write to us first. If we cannot agree, you may use the European Commission online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or bring the matter before the competent French courts.

We never see or store your card details: payment is handled entirely by Shopify Payments.
We use the TikTok Content Posting API solely to publish videos from our own account. This integration does not collect, store or process any data about TikTok users or visitors of this site. No TikTok data is displayed on this site.
Only those who need it to fulfil your order, each bound by a data processing agreement: Shopify, for the store, basket and payment; Printful, for production and shipping; Vercel, for hosting the design tool; and the carrier delivering your parcel. We never sell your data and never share it for advertising.
Our design tool is hosted by Vercel Inc., a company established in the United States, and some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You may ask us for a copy of the safeguards in place.
Order and invoicing records for ten years, as French commercial law requires. Messages for three years after our last exchange. The date and place you enter are not stored at all unless you order.
You can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, restrict or object to how we use it, and give instructions on what happens to it after your death. Write to immortal@moodgroup.fr and we answer within one month. If you remain unsatisfied you may complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.
